From the Heart of a Friend
Dear Ones,
Thank you for 'logging on' and visiting for a little while. This is such a joy to take my pen in hand and talk a little while to each of you so beloved of the Lord (John 3:16).
When you have just visited with your best Friend, you feel so refreshed, but more importantly, you are so at ease and relaxed to be just yourself. I just came from the joy of being able to talk to my best Friend about everything from how I feel and look to how I act and think as well as my 'coming and going'. More than that, you can hardly wait to hear what your Friend's response is to what you have just shared.
From the very first, my Friend specifically wrote and told me He would not leave me, He would never reject me, and that He'd always be my Friend and not leave me. Because of his graciousness, I feel so free to enjoy Him without exception. This fellowship we shared, I discovered was enhanced more by His participation than by mine. The truth is that the very core of our friendship started and developed much more by what He has done and does than by what I have done or do.
Of course, I most assuredly have to behave as a friend (and not as an enemy). You know Dear Ones, whenever someone loves you and never treats you unkindly and is forever giving and caring for you it is so natural for you to love him.
My Friend's name is Jesus the Christ. Is He your best Friend also?
If He is not your Friend and if you would like Him to be your Friend, you may invite Him to come and to be yours also. You may also invite Him to be your Lord and Saviour. He will forgive you of your sins and wash you white as snow whenever you ask Him to be forgiven of all sins. Jesus made that all possible on the cross at Calvary. The Holy Blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin.
Jesus will never reject you, nor forsake you. When He comes into your heart, you are set free. Those who Jesus sets free are free indeed.
It was good to visit with you. You are very precious to Papa God. May I write again sometime and visit with you again? I'd like that! Would you?
