Opportunities to LAUGH:

Have you forgotten how to have fun?

Stop taking your self so seriously, it's ok to laugh at yourself sometimes.

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.

Isaiah 53:4

Those words were written roughly 1000 years before Jesus was born; telling about the rejection of him by a nation, by the people.

The Word of God it true. The Word of God is Sound. The Word of God is trustworthy.

Over a thousand years before Jesus was born God told a man named Isaiah about the Son that God would send to this world; a Son that would pave the way back to God (the Father) for those who wanted to come.

Isaiah wrote about his birth, he even knew the town he would be born in. He wrote about his death. He told us that

Jesus would be so disfigured that he would be unrecognizable.

That's how well God knows each and every one of us. He knows the number of hairs on our head.

For some of us who keep losing our hair, he has to keep counting backward.

But, he knows us well enough to be able to tell Isaiah what we would accomplish.

Do you think he's surprised by some of the dumb, thoughtless or conniving things we do?

NO

God knows the best we can be and the worst we can be.

The best you can be is covered in Jesus.

The worst you can be is to refuse the most precious gift of life, Jesus.
